Umbro is collaborating with OOF to create two unique jerseys
Sportswear giants Umbro have teamed up with the football magazine OOF to create two unique shirts designed by two of the UK’s most exciting contemporary artists.

Juno Calypso and Rhys Coren received a simple brief – create two unique works of art as part of the collaboration. The only difference is that they would use shirts as their canvas.
The results are pretty sick, making them the perfect buy if you want to stand out from the crowd with five-on-the-side running.
Back when we asked @UmbroUK if they would be interested in collaborating on a series of artificial football shirts in a limited edition, we did not dare dream that the results would be as spectacular as this. We are really blown away. https://t.co/vVU27O2WCS pic.twitter.com/Ib7JiU3bPe

Calypso has become one of the most famous photographers working today, with a repertoire consisting of collaborations with Burberry and Stella McCartney.
Noted for her eye-catching, pink photography used to symbolize femininity, solitude and lust, it will probably come as no surprise that her effort contains a base of wavy pink stripes. The detail over the front of the shirt shows the name of an imaginary brothel, with the world-famous Umbro brand around the edges of the sleeves.
The striking design is described as ‘confrontational, ominous and undeniably Juno Calypso’.

Coren’s effort is probably even more eye-catching, with an accident of shapes and colors helping it instantly capture your attention.
Having become known for his use of intense, bold colors, the shirt is an embodiment of Coren as an artist.
Each shirt comes with a signed, numbered certificate of authenticity with the hope that the art can be available to everyone rather than just the elite.

If you’ve seen enough to be desperate to get one of these shirts, the good news is that they are available from April 8 and can be purchased through the official Umbro website or the OOF magazine’s official website for £ 55.
The bad news is that there are only 300 of each shirt, so you have to go fast if you want to take care of one of them.
