Turkey condemns attacks that have killed over 100 years
Turkey said in a statement early Sunday that it "condemns" an attack by unidentified attackers in northern Burkina Faso that left more than 100 people dead.
The attack occurred in a village in Yagha province in the Sahel region overnight on Friday.
"We strongly condemn this heinous attack," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"We extend our sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as to the friendly and fraternal people and government of Burkina Faso," it added.
