Request for Public Help Following the Theft of a Valued 280-Year-Old Violin from a London Pub
Police in London are reaching out to the public for assistance following the theft of a remarkable £150,000 (€175k) violin from a pub in Islington.
This exquisite instrument, belonging to a member of the London Philharmonia Orchestra, is reported to have been stolen from The Marquess Tavern on Canonbury Street on February 18.
The owner, a 30-year-old musician, promptly informed the Metropolitan Police about the incident that same evening.
