Thibaut Courtois (GK) – Only league leaders Atletico have conceded fewer than Real in the league this season and this man is one of the most important factors behind their solid statistics.
Alvaro Odriozola (RB) – Has been sidelined by Lucas Vazquez for much of the season but will likely be withdrawn with his compatriot ruled out through injury.
Eder Militao (CB) – Went really well during the week against Liverpool and has increased when his team needed him in the absence of Ramos and Raphael Varane.
Víctor Chust (CB) – When Varane recovers from coronavirus, it is said that the Frenchman is in doubt, so Víctor Chust could be handed over just his second ever La Liga appearance.
Ferland Mendy (LB) – Zidane has been forced to experiment with Real’s backline this season but this man has been almost always present. The French international is starting to look like the player Real paid out big money for 2019.

Luka Modric (CM) – Rumor has it that he has signed a new contract with the club after agreeing to take a pay cut. Still one of the best midfielders in the world even though he was in the twilight of his career.
Federico Valverde (CM) – Started as a right-back against Liverpool on Wednesday night and actually did a decent job. Probably moved to midfield in the absence of the suspended Casemiro.
Toni Kroos (CM) – As good as Luka Modric is, this man is not far away. Sometimes the game sounds simple and is a mainstay in Real midfield three.

Marco Asensio (RW) – Probably the least glamorous of Real’s star-studded front lines, but no less important. Works a lot for the team’s best and has started to look more clinical in recent months.
Karim Benzema (ST) – Another real superstar who is reportedly writing new terms with the club. Crucial to Zidane’s style of play and is probably their most important player.
Vinicius Junior (LW) – Reportedly named by Real as one of their key players in the coming years and will definitely not leave this summer. It shows how much he is appreciated and he is shown in a flash what a superstar he can be.
