Iran Unveils New Missile Strikes Amid Israeli Assault on Tehran
The ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel has escalated dramatically, with Iran recently launching a series of missile strikes on Israeli targets, inflicting injuries on civilians in residential areas. In response, Israel has been targeting Iranian military installations, heightening tensions in the region.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear that the country will continue its offensive, declaring, “We will hit every site, every target of the ayatollah regime.” Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has issued a strong warning, stating that further Israeli strikes will provoke “a more severe and powerful response.”
As calls for peace grow louder, the latest round of nuclear discussions between the United States and Iran has been called off, with Iran asserting it cannot engage in negotiations while under attack. The pattern of hostilities began early Friday, targeting Iran’s air defense systems and essential military sites, leading to significant casualties, according to Iranian sources.
The Iranian news agency Tasnim reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted a key defense ministry building in Tehran, causing damage, although there was no official comment from the ministry. In turn, Iran has vowed to launch what it calls a “new wave” of attacks on Israel, fueled by reports that an Iranian missile struck a home in Haifa, injuring 14 individuals, one critically.
Additively, Israeli forces have targeted two fuel depots in Tehran, resulting in further complications. The Iranian oil ministry confirmed that these sites have been struck, adding to the ongoing chaos.
“Every site, every target,” Netanyahu reiterated, emphasizing the intention to continue military actions in the forthcoming days. He added that their operations have delivered a “real blow” to Iran’s nuclear ambitions and claimed to have the “clear support” of U.S. President Donald Trump.
President Trump, in a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, acknowledged the need for an end to the confrontation between Iran and Israel. In response, Pezeshkian condemned what he referred to as “Zionist aggression” and cautioned that it would be met with severe retaliation from Iranian forces.
International concerns are mounting, with fears that this intensifying conflict could spiral into a larger regional war. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned of the potential for a “devastating war” in a call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, reflecting widespread anxiety about the conflict’s implications.
In these turbulent times, Iranian authorities report significant casualties on both sides, while Iranian media claim that Israeli strikes have resulted in the deaths of multiple military figures. As both nations mobilize, the call for citizens to unite in defense versus the call to rise against governing powers adds layers of complexity to the unfolding situation.
One Iranian missile, reportedly targeting Israeli troops, has left several soldiers injured, showcasing the conflict’s chaotic nature.
The impact of these attacks has led to disruptions in air traffic, with neighboring countries temporarily closing their airspace amid heightened tensions. Ground operations have also intensified, sparking fears of a broader and more devastating conflict across the region.
As hopes for diplomatic resolution appear tenuous, both leaders continue to issue firm statements in support of their respective positions, raising questions about the path forward amidst such escalating rhetoric.
