This Friday, December 25, is the last day of the campaign in Niger. The thirty candidates have until midnight to convince 7.5 million voters before the presidential and legislative elections on Sunday. The competing parties therefore organized the latest campaign events.

In Niamey, there is scattered entertainment, but no big meeting this Friday. The meeting scheduled for the big stadium in Niamey for Mohamed Bazoum, candidate of the ruling party, PNDS, was canceled due to Covid-19.
Several political groups, such as MNSD from Seyni Oumarou or Kishin Kassa from Ibrahim Yacouba, on the other hand, have planned caravans or the distribution of flyers.
That parti Lumana had called on his activists to greet Hama Amadou at the airport to accompany him to Kollo, where a meeting was scheduled. Hama Amadou, whose candidacy was annulled by the Constitutional Court, gave his support to the former president Mahamane Ousmane.
RDR candidate Tchandji also received another support this Friday: that of Amadou Boubacar Cissé. UDR party candidate Tabbat withdrew, urging his activists to vote for Mahamane Ousmane.
The three parties: UDR Tabbat, Mature Fa Lumana and RDR Tchandji are part of the same Cap 20/21 coalition. Therefore, there are only 29 candidates left during the course, instead of 30.
