Lawrence will present some much-needed depth for Loons after defender Chase Gasper joined the MLS Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health (SABH) program for private causes on a voluntary foundation. Gasper will likely be unavailable till he has acquired permission from a SABH physician.
29-year-old Lawrence joined MLS with the New York Red Bulls in 2015 and received two Supporters’ Shield titles in 5 seasons with the membership. After a quick keep in Belgium with Anderlecht, Toronto FC took again the 74-fold Jamaica worldwide throughout the Atlantic in 2021.
