Transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of securing the services of promising young Croatian center-back Luka Vuskovic from Hajduk Split. The London club has surpassed the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester City in the race for his signature.
According to Romano, Tottenham and Hajduk Split have reached an agreement after finalizing the remaining details of the transfer. Vuskovic, who has attracted interest from several top clubs including Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, has made it clear that he only wants to join Spurs. An official announcement regarding his signing is expected in due course.
Standing at an imposing height of 1.93m, the 16-year-old Balkan talent is yet to make his senior debut for Hajduk Split. However, he showcased his abilities last season with nine appearances and has already started the current campaign impressively with the U19 side, scoring eight goals in 20 games.
