“We have the same stakes as Madrid, it’s a knock-out tie”

Diego Pablo Simeone spoke to the media forward of the Real Madrid-Atletico Copa quarter-final. The coach stated that each groups have an awful lot at stake, as {one of the} two shall be eradicated from the match. On Vinicius, he stated he’s not bothered by Ancelotti saying he ought to be protected.

This Thursday, Atletico or Real Madrid shall be eradicated from the Copa del Rey. Everything will rely on what occurs within the quarter-finals conflict on the Santiago Bernabeu.

For the Argentine, this Atletico is higher than earlier than the World Cup. “I see them better after the break, with a lot of offensive possibilities. The group is committed and excited,” he stated. 

Simeone refused to offer any clues about the sport he’ll play. “If I tell them, they’ll find out,” he stated with a smile on his lips. “We have to play an important game because when Madrid compete, they do it very well,” he constrained himself to saying. “I’m more concerned that we can play a good game because we’ve prepared for it. Then it’s football and a lot of things can happen…”, he closed.
