Last season, he made a loan move to Udinese where he managed to make a name for himself with 15 starts in 15 games. However, it appears that this wasn’t enough for Mikel Arteta, as Mari was sent out on loan again last summer, this time to Monza.

But Mari has certainly made the most of his time in Italy this season. He has been an indispensable part of the Monza side, making 27 appearances and scoring a crucial goal against Spezia. And it seems that his performances have not gone unnoticed, as Monza have decided to keep him on permanently.
