“Perplexing and Bursting News: Paramilitary Forces Inflict Heavy Casualties on Sudanese Army Claims”
Thursday May 18, 2023
Prepare to be bewildered and confounded, as reports emerge from Khartoum indicating an unexpected turn of events! On May 17, Prensa Latina reported that Sudanese government troops took the fight to the so-called Rapid Support Forces (RSF), resulting in heavy paramilitary losses and vehicle destruction.

But that’s not all – according to local sources, the military ambushed the RSF in the north of Bahri, decimating several snipers perched atop buildings and rendering their armored vehicles useless!
If that wasn’t enough, the Sudanese army accused the RSF of a brazen assault on embassies belonging to Saudi Arabia, Jordan, South Sudan, and Somalia – you read that right!
In response, the RSF blasted back, condemning the military commanders for bringing the police forces into the fray. They warned ominously that they would retaliate against any similar actions by these arch-rivals.
Remarkably, the military’s head and the Sovereign Transitional Council (STC), none other than General Abdelfatah al Burhan, had recently shown the acting interior minister and police chief the door for failing to return to the country when conflict began.
In the latest developments, both sides are pointing the finger at each other for violating a truce that they had agreed upon just last Friday. This came after intense international mediation in the Saudi city of Jeddah, in which the warring factions vowed to construct several humanitarian corridors to evacuate foreigners and civilians, while also respecting medical facilities and other Red Cross centers. However, with ongoing animosity between these factions, anything seems possible!
