In the capital, the situation remained tense. Meanwhile, in Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, there was a slight improvement in the security situation after the RSF gained control of the city. In West Kordofan, the army is making preparations to secure the eastern part of the state following an attack on Lagawa town by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement North, led by Abdelaziz El Hilu (SPLM-N El Hilu).
