On Monday, Another World Food Day marked the occasion with a meaningful theme: ‘Water is life, water is food. Leave No One Behind.’ This event brought together the Federal Government, Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Nigeria, ActionAid Nigeria (AAN), and Oxfam in Nigeria. Their collective focus was to emphasize the importance of managing water resources effectively for substantial food production that would improve the lives of Nigerians. This goal is especially crucial in light of escalating food prices, the adverse impact of climate change, such as floods and droughts, and the pressing need for sustainable food policies.
