News Alert: Manchester United’s Rashford involved in serious car accident following Burnley match
According to multiple reports from England, Manchester United winger Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident after leaving the training complex following the match against Burnley. Despite the crash, the 25-year-old is in good health.
Manchester United managed to alleviate their early-season troubles with a remarkable goal from Fernandes, securing a 1-0 victory against Burnley and snapping a three-game losing streak. However, not all was positive news.
Following the team’s triumph, Marcus Rashford was reportedly caught up in a car accident while departing from the Carrington training complex. Reports state that Erik ten Hag’s squad returned to Manchester as a group after their game at Turf Moor.
It is said that the England international was driving his Rolls Royce worth £700k when he collided with a traffic island. Fortunately, despite the collision, Rashford escaped unharmed. Though the police arrived at the accident scene, no ambulance was required.
Having played the entire 90 minutes of the Premier League match against Burnley, it is possible that fatigue may have contributed to the incident. Thankfully, Rashford’s teammate Bruno Fernandes happened to be passing by on his way home and stopped to assist. We eagerly await an update on the striker’s condition.
