In line with ‘Bild’s report, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have expressed their interest in acquiring the services of Manchester United’s Scott McTominay to enhance their midfield options.
Having accumulated more than 200 appearances for the Red Devils, the experienced Scottish international is a suitable candidate to fill the role of a seasoned defensive midfielder for a German team.
Despite performing well at Old Trafford, the 26-year-old has slipped down the team’s depth chart and has only made a couple of brief substitute appearances in the current season.
‘Bild’ also mentions discussions regarding a possible swap deal, where Bayern would send Ryan Gravenberch to Erik ten Hag’s side. The Dutch player has also struggled to secure a consistent starting position, featuring in just three starting line-ups throughout last season’s 24 appearances.
