Mason Mount sidelined until the upcoming international break
Manchester United have made an official announcement regarding their summer signing Mason Mount. Unfortunately, Mount is currently dealing with a minor issue that will prevent him from playing in the next two games. As a result, he will have to wait until after the international break to make his return.
Manchester United’s prominent midfielder, Mason Mount, will be unavailable until the upcoming international break next month.
The talented English midfielder, who featured in United’s first two matches of the season, is currently hampered by a minor setback. Consequently, he will be absent from the upcoming fixtures against Nottingham Forest this weekend and Arsenal in one week’s time.
Mount sustained an injury during the team’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, which forced him to be substituted late in the game. Consequently, there is uncertainty surrounding his participation in the England squad for the upcoming matches against Ukraine and Scotland.
According to the statement released by Manchester United, “Mason Mount won’t be available for Saturday’s game against Nottingham Forest due to an injury he picked up during last weekend’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur. This minor issue is expected to sideline Mount until the international break next month.”
