Man United reaches deal to transfer Fred to Fenerbahce
Manchester United have come to an initial agreement for the transfer of Fred from Old Trafford to Fenerbahce, a Turkish club, as announced by the English Premier League team on Friday. Fred will undergo a medical examination in Istanbul on Saturday, and the completion of the deal is dependent on the player agreeing to personal terms and receiving international clearance for the transfer.
United expressed their appreciation for Fred, stating that he has left a lasting positive impression during his time at Old Trafford. They wished him the best of luck for the future as they await confirmation of the completed deal.

Although the exact fee has not been disclosed, it has been reported by the ‘Manchester Evening News’ that United has accepted a €15 million (£13 million) fee from Fenerbahce for the Brazilian midfielder. Fred’s last appearance for the Red Devils was in the FA Cup final defeat to local rivals Manchester City in June.
Fred’s contract with Manchester United is set to expire at the end of the 2023/24 season. He joined the club in 2018 from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £47 million transfer.
During the previous season, Fred made 56 appearances for United, scoring six goals. He played a crucial role in the team’s third-place finish in the Premier League, securing qualification for the prestigious Champions League. Overall, Fred has made 139 Premier League appearances for United and has scored eight goals.
