Man United dismiss possibility of Maguire leaving this summer

Perceiving Only Positives In Maguire: A Closer Look

Manchester United have informed Harry Maguire that he will not be allowed to leave the club during this summer transfer window. They believe that there is not enough time to find a suitable replacement for him before the window closes. Despite receiving an offer from West Ham, it now seems likely that Maguire will stay at Old Trafford.

According to The Guardian, Manchester United have communicated to Maguire that he is not going to be sold this summer. The club is concerned that there is insufficient time to find a suitable replacement for him before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Initially, Manchester United had come close to reaching an agreement with West Ham for Maguire, with a reported value of £30 million. However, the deal fell through because Maguire demanded a £7 million payoff to compensate for the potential loss of salary he would have faced in London.

However, West Ham has since signed Greek international Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart for their defense. As a result, Manchester United is now in search for a new defender to replace the injured Luke Shaw.
