On Saturday, Real Madrid expressed their profound sorrow and solidarity for the victims affected by the recent devastating earthquakes in Morocco. The earthquakes, which have resulted in the tragic loss of 632 lives and countless injuries, deeply saddened the ‘Merengues’.
In an official statement released by Real Madrid, President Florentino Perez and the board of directors extended their heartfelt condolences and affection to the families of the deceased and to the entire Moroccan community. They also wished a swift recovery to those who were injured and conveyed their strength and affection to them.
Early on Friday, Morocco experienced a series of four earthquakes of varying magnitudes, centered near Marrakech. These earthquakes caused widespread destruction and claimed the lives of numerous individuals.
