In a recent development, Siyad Abdullahi, a prominent Kenyan American healthcare and corporate executive, has been appointed as a trustee of the Kenya Hospital Authority Trust Fund (KHATF). He expressed his gratitude to President Ruto for this timely appointment.

A special event was organized by the Kenyan diaspora in Minneapolis, USA, to convey their appreciation to President William Ruto for making significant appointments within his government.

This event witnessed the presence of various leaders from the Kenyan diaspora as well as members from neighboring countries such as Somalia, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.

The leader of the Kenyan-Somali community, Omar Aden, led the diaspora delegation.

Siyad Abdullahi, a Kenyan American healthcare and corporate executive serving as CEO, was recently given the responsibility of being a trustee on the Kenya Hospital Authority Trust Fund (KHATF).

He expressed his gratitude to the President for these well-timed appointments, while the diaspora delegation pledged their support to President Ruto.

Notable attendees during the event included Sam Nyagah Ireri, Director of Communications & Diaspora Affairs for UDA, as well as other influential leaders from the Kenyan diaspora like Geoffrey Chui Gichana, Huldah Momanyi, and Yussuf Haji.

Currently, the estimated number of Kenyan diaspora stands at over three million individuals.
