KDB and Lewandowski refuse offer from Saudi Arabia, focus on European career
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, some notable names in the world of football, including Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City and Robert Lewandowski of Barcelona, have made the decision to decline lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs in favor of continuing their careers in Europe.
The transfer window this summer has witnessed Saudi Arabia making significant waves, attracting the attention of various European football stars who have been enticed by the substantial offers they have received. Players of the likes of Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Jordan Henderson, and others have departed Europe to embark on a new chapter in the Saudi league. Saudi clubs have been actively pursuing promising talents available in the transfer market.
Nevertheless, many players have opted not to depart from their current teams or European football altogether. Notably, Kevin De Bruyne and Robert Lewandowski both turned down several offers from Saudi Arabian clubs, despite being tempted to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo. Both players remain committed to their respective English and Spanish clubs, aiming to achieve further success in the Champions League and maintain their European careers.
