“Is Cancelo really moving to Madrid instead of Barca? The suspense is killing me!”

Cancelo's Benching Against Dortmund Draws Barca's Attention

Real Madrid is reportedly back in the race to acquire the services of footballer Joao Cancelo. As per ‘Sport1’, the club is keen on finding a left wing player and is now eyeing the City player, who is presently on loan at Bayern. This development would sideline Barcelona, who are pursuing a loan agreement with City, while the latter is inclined towards a sale.

The defender will be heading back to Etihad Stadium in June, where Bayren Munich, with an option to buy Cancelo, is unexpectedly not showing interest. Manchester City, his parent club, will not have trouble finding a new buyer. Interestingly, Real Madrid has shown keenness in the Portuguese defender, who had previously rejected an offer from Los Blancos.

Real Madrid is seeking a left winger, and their target is Joao Cancelo. City is reportedly open to this option. However, there are other suitors, such as Barcelona, who are only inclining towards a loan agreement. City prefers selling the player, and Real Madrid is open to this option.

Barcelona was initially hoping that no other club would show interest in Cancelo, forcing City to agree to a loan. With Real Madrid entering the fray, it seems that the player is more likely to move to the Spanish capital than to Barcelona.
