“Faith in God” urged by Brazilian Confederation president in pursuit of Ancelotti
Ednaldo Rodrigues, the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation, recently discussed the possibility of hiring Carlo Ancelotti as the national team’s new coach with ‘Reuters’. He urged fans and team members to have “faith in God”. Ancelotti is highly respected among ‘Selecao’ players, with many of them openly discussing his potential appointment. Rodrigues admires Ancelotti for his honesty and consistency in his work and believes he is a top coach capable of achieving even more. Fans throughout Brazil are also fond of Ancelotti due to the exemplary job he has done throughout his career. As of now, the Confederation has not made any formal contact with Ancelotti out of respect for his contract with Real Madrid, which runs until June 2024. However, they will continue to wait and hope for the right moment to make it happen while searching for a new coach for the Brazil national team.
