Tanzania’s opponent Tundu Lissu returns from exile

Tundu Lissu, who was shot 16 instances in an assassination effort in 2017 and has spent many of the years since then in Belgium, will arrive on a flight from Brussels by way of Addis Ababa. The 55-year-old stated in a video posted on Twitter from Brussels airport that he’ll head to an opposition rally held to welcome his arrival and talk about “our issues as Tanzanians”.
