Somali Prime Minister meets the UNICEF delegation

Wednesday, January 25, 2023Mogadishu, January 25 (QNA) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Wednesday met with a delegation from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), led by UNICEF Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa Mohamed Falls.

According to the Somali National News Agency, the prime minister and the UNICEF delegation mentioned essential problems relating to the institution’s charitable things to do and the promotion of humanitarian help and aid from the institution to the individuals, specially Somali kids.

During the assembly, Barre thanked UNICEF officers for the humanitarian aid the institution supplies inside the care of Somali kids, and urged them to extend their efforts to discover a lasting answer to the prevailing issues.

In flip, the UNICEF Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa confirmed that the company is dedicated to strengthening the cooperation and relationship it has with the Somali authorities, to enhance the security and fitness of the Somali kids and to aid them in adapting to local weather change and its resultseasily on Somalia.
