Somali police foil assault in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Xinhua) — Somali Nationwide Military (SNA) stated its forces foiled an assault within the capital, Mogadishu early Saturday.

Sadiq Dudishe, the spokesperson of the Somali Police Pressure, stated the officers intercepted two improvised explosive units connected to a car owned by a civilian who was being focused close to Daljirka Dahsoon space positioned within the capital.

Dudishe stated the bomb squad safely defused the explosive units, foiling the assault. Nobody was injured.

“The security forces closed business activity and the public road to avoid casualties,” he stated in a press release issued in Mogadishu.
