Somali National Army kills 26 al-Shabab militants in new safety operation

Jowhar (AX) – The Somali National Army (SNA) killed 26 al-Shabab extremists in a safety operation performed on Monday between El Ba’ad and Ruunirgood areas within the Middle Shabelle zone.

Major Adan Jeele Ali, certainly one of the officers in command of the operation, advised state media that the navy forces focused the group’s military positions and destroyed terrorist hideouts the place they harassed civilians.
