Somali forces liberate the only village held by al Shabab within the Middle Shabelle area
Jowhar (AX) – Somali forces and allied militias recaptured the Ruun Nirgood district within the Middle Shabelle area on Thursday morning after days of heavy combating within the district’s suburbs.
Protection Ministry spokesman Common Abdullahi Ali Aanod advised a information convention in Mogadishu that Ruun Nirgood was the ones a village held by al Shabab within the Middle Shabelle area.
“This morning at six o’clock in the morning, coalition forces took over Ruun-nirgood district,” including that there had been combating in small villages below the district, together with Juha, Al-Naima and Al-Kowthar.
