Prime Minister Barre appoints a committee to arrange elections for parliamentary vacancies
Mogadishu (AX) – Somalia’s Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre on Tuesday appointed a nine-member interim electoral committee to arrange elections for vacant parliamentary seats within the Folks’s Home of Somalia’s eleventh Parliament.
Two seats have been left empty by Mahad Salad and Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre. The pinnacle of NISA and the Prime Minister are usually not allowed to stay in parliament as MPs underneath the structure.

2. Abdirizak Diiriye Warsame
3. Abdi Hiis Udan
4. Abdishakur Abiib Hayir
5. Abdullahi Abdi Aden
6. Mowliid Mataan Salad
7. Mohamed Adan Osman Yare
8. Yusuf Abdikadir Mohamed
9. Zahra Abdirahman Mohamed
The committee is anticipated to launch the timetable for the election within the coming days.
