Defense ministers, military chiefs from nations inside the Horn of Africa meet in Mogadishu
Mogadishu (AX) – Defense ministers and military chiefs of Kenya, Ethiopia and Djibouti met in Mogadishu on Tuesday afternoon forward of the summit of heads of state from the frontline nations.
At a press convention in Mogadishu, Somali Information Minister Daud Aweys recounted that the assembly would deal with growing a unified technique and cooperation between the location’s frontline states.

“Somalia is hosting defense ministers and chiefs of defense forces from frontline states (Djibouti, Kenya and Ethiopia) to discuss and adopt a common position on regional security and the fight against Al Shabab,” the data minister stated.
“This meeting is significant because the current security situation in Somalia affects not only Somalia but also neighboring countries. This meeting will make it easier to eliminate Khawarij collectively,” he added.
The ministers and the military chief will put together agendas for the summit of heads of state on Wednesday, which is anticipated to deal with the battle in opposition to al Shabab.
