25,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat delivered to Somali

As a part of Ukraine’s help to the African folks, who’re on the point of hunger, the cargo of 25,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat was delivered to the port of Berbera in Somalia.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Workplace of the President of Ukraine, wrote this on Twitter, reviews Ukrinform.

“As a part of the Grain from Ukraine program, the Neva ship delivered 25,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat to the port of Berbera in Somalia. That is Ukraine’s help to the African folks on the verge of hunger. In cooperation with the World Meals Program. Logistics prices are borne by Finland, France and Japan,” Yermak wrote.

As reported, eleven ships carrying Ukrainian agricultural merchandise just lately departed from Ukraine’s Black Sea ports as a part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

In September, the Ministry of International Affairs of Ukraine introduced that Ukraine would contribute 50,000 tons of wheat as humanitarian help to assist the actions of the governments of Ethiopia and Somalia.
