Everton player Demarai Gray transfers to Al-Ettifaq
Jamaican international Demarai Gray, who previously played for Everton in the Premier League, has made a move to Saudi Arabia to join Al-Ettifaq under the guidance of Steven Gerrard. In an amusing announcement on Thursday, Al-Ettifaq unveiled Gray as their latest signing.
Having been trained at Birmingham, the 27-year-old first gained recognition during his time at Leicester, notably participating in the Foxes’ Champions League campaign in the 2016/17 season. Following a short and unsuccessful stint with Bayer Leverkusen, Gray joined Everton, where he impressively scored 12 goals in 75 appearances.
