Eric Garcia, Alonso, and Abde likely to depart from Barca, Fermin receives contract extension offer

Eric Garcia, Marcos Alonso, and Ez Abde are all potential departures from Barcelona before the transfer window closes. These players, who are not part of Xavi’s plans, are seeking more playing time elsewhere. On the other hand, Barcelona is currently in negotiations with their academy player, Fermin Lopez, to extend his contract.

Eric Garcia, a Spanish player, has fallen down the pecking order at Barcelona and is contemplating leaving the club this summer. Girona seems to be his main option, as they are in need of a player to fill the gap left by Oriol Romeu’s departure. Garcia’s versatility as a center-back and defensive midfielder makes him an attractive option for Girona.

Similarly, Marcos Alonso could also be on the move before the transfer window shuts. Manchester United is reportedly in talks with Barcelona to secure the services of the former Chelsea left-back on loan. Alonso’s vast experience in the Premier League makes him an appealing choice for Erik Ten Hag’s defensive reinforcement.

Furthermore, Ez Abde has been promised more playing time by Xavi Hernandez, but he has been unable to fulfill that promise. The Moroccan winger is open to leaving Barcelona in search of a more significant role this season. Despite catching Xavi’s attention with an impressive performance at Osasuna last year, he has not received the desired amount of playing time.
