Dembele’s just the start: PSG have eyes on Ansu Fati
Paris Saint-Germain are happy to keep raiding Barcelona’s squad to find reinforcements up front. According to ‘AS’, signing Ousmane Dembele isn’t enough for Luis Enrique, and the Spaniard is after Ansu Fati as well, who recently returned from international duty with Spain.
There’s just over a week before we kick off the 2023-24 season, and the Parc des Princes are hoping to make good use of that time to bring in more signings. Dembele, despite the fact that Barcelona want to send him to Saudi Arabia, is all-but-officially PSG’s newest player, but they hope he doesn’t come alone.
According to ‘AS’, Ansu Fati is also on Luis Enrique’s wishlist and the French club are considering making an official offer to the Catalan side for him.
Although Al-Hilal are pushing to sign Dembele, the winger prefers to return home and play in Ligue 1. Once PSG have sealed his transfer, they will turn their attention to his Spanish teammate.
According to the outlet, Luis Enrique believes that Barca’s ’10’ would give PSG’s attack a boost. He knows exactly what he is capable of, having coached him in the Spanish National Team, and the Asturian would be delighted to have him back under his command.
The striker has always made it clear that he wants to succeed at the Camp Nou, but if a big offer comes in, according to ‘AS’, Barca would perhaps encourage him to pack his bags so that he can secure them a good transfer fee. His departure, although painful, would help the club a lot economically.
