After reports emerged a few days ago regarding Marcelo Flores’ imminent departure from Arsenal, the 19-year-old midfielder has now been officially unveiled as the newest addition to Mexican club Tigres. Tigres made the announcement on their official website.
Marcelo Flores is set to embark on a new chapter in his career with Tigres after failing to secure a place in Arsenal’s first-team squad. The young Mexican midfielder is highly regarded for his talent and potential, which he demonstrated through impressive performances for Arsenal’s youth team.
In the previous season, Flores had a loan spell at Oviedo, where he featured in 15 matches, starting eight of them. However, this season, he has only played for Arsenal’s U-21 team, making four appearances, all from the bench.
