Several reports in England have stated that Romeo Lavia suffered an ankle injury during a Chelsea training session on Friday. The duration of his recovery will depend on his progress.

Chelsea is currently dealing with numerous injuries. Wesley Fofana, Armando Broja, Benoit Badiashile, Christopher Nkunku, Trevo Chalobah, Reece James, and Carney Chukwuemeka are all sidelined due to injuries.

Unfortunately, the injury list continues to expand. Romeo Lavia, who has yet to make his debut for Chelsea after joining from Southampton, reportedly injured his ankle during a training session on Friday.

Speaking about Lavia’s situation in the post-match press conference following Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Luton Town, manager Mauricio Pochettino mentioned that it will take a few weeks for Lavia to be ready to play with the team. Pochettino highlighted Lavia’s efforts to catch up with his teammates and mentioned that they will need to wait for a few weeks to see him in action.

While the Blues have not officially confirmed Lavia’s injury, an announcement is expected in the coming hours.
