Casemiro expresses positive reaction to Hojlund’s debut for Man Utd

Rasmus Hojlund recently shared his thoughts on his Manchester United debut in an interview with Danish outlet ‘Tipsbladet’. The talented striker reflected on his first experience of playing alongside Casemiro, expressing his admiration for the Brazilian midfielder.

In a Premier League match against Arsenal, Manchester United unfortunately suffered a 1-3 defeat at the Emirates Stadium. However, United’s manager Erik ten Hag provided Hojlund with his inaugural opportunity, substituting him in for Martial in the 67th minute. Additionally, former captain Harry Maguire entered the field, replacing Lisandro Martinez.

Hojlund’s performance caught the attention of his new teammate Casemiro, who was evidently impressed. A video capturing Casemiro’s exuberant support for the Danish striker quickly went viral on social media. During the interview, Hojlund, currently training with his national team, was asked about Casemiro’s reaction.

“He expressed his excitement in Spanish, exclaiming ‘Vamos’ or something similar. He was delighted that I brought a slightly different dynamic to the team, distinct from Martial,” Hojlund revealed to ‘Tipsbladet’.

“He acknowledges that I possess a greater technical prowess and have a propensity for exploring openings on the field. Considering he had not witnessed my gameplay previously, Casemiro pleasantly admitted to being pleasantly surprised by my performance.”
