The official lineup of nominees for Manager of the Month for August 2023 has been released, and fans now have the opportunity to cast their votes. Voting will remain open until Monday, September 11th.

The list consists of Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, David Moyes, and Ange Postecoglou. Notably, David Moyes is the sole manager representing a non-Big Six team, West Ham United.

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal) has guided his team to an impressive 5th place in the Premier League standings. Remaining unbeaten throughout August, Arsenal secured victories against Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United, with only a draw against Fulham in the London derby.

Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) led his team to a flawless start, winning all four of their matches in the domestic competition. Manchester City triumphed over Burnley, Newcastle United, Sheffield Wednesday, and Fulham.

Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) began the season with a draw against Chelsea away, but his team rallied back with three consecutive wins against Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Aston Villa.

David Moyes (West Ham United) kicked off the Premier League campaign with an away draw against Bournemouth, followed by three wins against Chelsea, Brighton, and Luton Town.

Ange Postecoglou (Tottenham) currently holds second place in the standings. After an initial draw on the first Premier League matchday, Tottenham secured three victories against Manchester United, Bournemouth, and Burnley.

All five nominated managers represent teams in the top five positions in the Premier League. Arsenal, Liverpool, West Ham, and Tottenham all share 10 points, while Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City leads the pack with a perfect record of 12 points, having not lost a single game.
