Bellingham recalls feeling overwhelmed by Madrid fans’ rendition of ‘Hey Jude’
Jude Bellingham was overwhelmed by the reception he received from Real Madrid fans when they serenaded him with The Beatles song ‘Hey Jude’ after he scored the winning goal against Getafe. Describing it as the loudest moment he has ever heard in a stadium, Bellingham admitted that he got goosebumps and his legs were shaking as he stood and listened to the supporters. He believes that these are the moments he was brought in for and that he can deliver for the team.
Real Madrid signed Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund for over 100 million euros in the summer, and he has already made an impact by scoring in all four La Liga matches he has played so far this season. Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti praised Bellingham for his strong start, acknowledging that while his quality is not surprising, the number of goals he has scored is impressive. Bellingham’s professionalism and quick learning were also commended by Ancelotti.

With his goal against Getafe, Bellingham joined a select group of players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, who have scored in each of their first four Liga matches. His contributions have been vital for Madrid, as he has scored five of their eight La Liga goals this season, helping to fill the void left by Karim Benzema.
