Bellingham Matches Ronaldo’s Scoring Record at Madrid
Jude Bellingham, the talented English player signed by Real Madrid, has made an exceptional start to the season, scoring four goals in three victories under the guidance of coach Carlo Ancelotti. His impressive performance matches that of Cristiano Ronaldo during his early days at Real Madrid in 2009.
Despite not playing as a forward, Bellingham, who joined from Borussia Dortmund, has emerged as the key player in Real Madrid’s attacking line in the 2023-24 La Liga season. The team currently sits at the top of the table with a perfect record.

Bellingham contributed the second goal in a 2-0 triumph over Athletic Bilbao at San Mames, netted a brace to secure a comeback victory against Almeria, and sealed a hard-fought 1-0 win against Celta at Balaidos.
His impressive start mirrors that of Cristiano Ronaldo, who broke numerous goal-scoring records during his time at Real Madrid. Ronaldo also scored four goals in his first three La Liga matches in 2009, helping his team under the leadership of Manuel Pellegrini achieve a superb start to the domestic competition.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals included a penalty against Deportivo, another goal in a 3-0 victory over Espanyol in Barcelona, and a brace against Xerez at the Santiago Bernabeu.
With four goals already, Bellingham has surpassed his previous highest scoring season. In the Bundesliga, he scored eight goals last season and had one and three league goals in the two preceding seasons.
