Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj’s People’s Servants are great favorites for today’s parliamentary elections in Ukraine. His party has received 44 percent according to an election survey.

– Thank you to the Ukrainian people for your support, because you believe in the people’s servants, our party said Volodymyr Zelenskyj at the party’s election booth in Kiev.

This parliamentary election also became a success for Zelenskyj, who just over three months ago won the presidential election by far. But despite the successes, it is uncertain which influence his party gets in parliament.

As it looks now, the party needs to cooperate with others to form a majority. According to several analysts, another newcomer in parliament is the main cooperation option. The party “Voice”, or Golos, led by Ukrainian rock star Svyatoslav Vakartjuk, according to the survey, received 6.4 percent.

It is not enough for a majority, and many people are now asking whether Zelenskyj can also co-operate with the former Prime Minister of Yulia Tymoshenko’s party of the Fatherland. He has not been positive to this so far.

On the election week he chose not to comment on potential government coalitions, but said that he now wants to prioritize his election promises,

– Ending the war, agreeing on exchange of prison with Russia and curbing corruption.

In addition to the three parties, the opposition movement for Life also entered parliament. The party is close to Russia and President Vladimir Putin. According to the election survey, it receives 11.5 percent

Even the former President Petro Poroshenko’s European solidarity party came in, but looks to lose the majority of the places parties have today. The party received 8.9 percent.

According to the electoral commission, voting participation was just under 50 percent.
