Vardy Commits to Leicester City with a Dynamic One-Year Contract Extension

Jamie Vardy is gearing up for his thirteenth spell with Leicester City in the Premier League, affirming his long-term commitment to the squad.

Jamie Vardy will remain a fixture at Leicester City, having renewed his contract through June 2025.

Since transferring from Fleetwood Town, a non-league team, in 2012, the 37-year-old has climbed to third in the club’s highest goal scorers, netting 190 goals in 464 matches.

His accolades include snagging the Premier League title in the 2015-16 season, hoisting the FA Cup and the Community Shield, as well as claiming two Championship titles.

During the last season, he bagged 20 goals across all competitions, instrumental in Leicester’s swift bounce back to premier status as league champs after briefly dropping out.

Vardy expressed on the club’s site, “I’m chuffed about last season’s tally, yet I believe I can still top that.”

“I tout youth as merely a figure. As long as my legs hold up, I’ll keep lacing up. Eventually, they’ll throw in the towel, but that day’s not today.”

“We’re stoked for the next Premier League run and eager to see what’s possible. Undoubtedly, it remains the apex of football leagues. That’s the stage every player aspires to perform on.”
