Tuchel Officially Declares Departure from Bayern Munich, Unable to Reach Agreement for Extension

Bayern Munich will have to look for a new coach as Thomas Tuchel is confirmed to leave the team after talks fell through.

After Tuchel won the Bundesliga last season but didn’t secure any silverware this season, Bayern informed him he wouldn’t be staying.

Despite talks with potential successors like Nagelsmann and Alonso falling through earlier, Bayern were unable to convince Tuchel to stay on.

Tuchel stated in a recent press conference that despite talks, no agreement was reached for him to continue with Bayern.

As Bayern fights to secure second place in the table, they’ve faced disappointment this season with losses in the DFB-Pokal and Champions League.

Even though Bayern spent a record €100 million on Harry Kane, they ended the season empty-handed without any trophies.

Tuchel shared that his decision to leave was made in February, and while there was a possibility of staying, it didn’t materialize.

The reasons behind Tuchel’s departure remain unclear, but the decision was final according to him.
