Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini has completed the first part of his medicine before joining Tottenham Hotspur on loan.
Spurs have agreed an agreement to sign the 26-year-old on loan for at least the next 12 months, with the agreement also including options to both extend the loan and make the deal permanent if certain clauses are met.

Gollini is currently undergoing medical treatment in Italy due to COVID-19 restrictions, and according to Sky Sports News, the process will continue on Thursday, after which he can jump straight on a plane and head for London.
Asked about his feelings about Fabrizio Romano’s proposed move, Gollini simply replied: “I’m so happy.”
The loan contract for Gollini will come with an alternative for Spurs to sign the goalkeeper for 13 million pounds, but it will be an obligation if he plays a certain number of matches for Nuno Espirito Santos’ side in the coming season.
As pointed out by The Athletic, the plan is for Gollini to come in and offer serious competition for current starter Hugo Lloris, whose long-term future at the club remains in the air.
The Frenchman, who turns 35 in December, has only 12 months left on his contract. He is not expected to be sold this summer but will soon talk to the club about what will happen when his contract expires.
Gollini has been taken in while waiting to lose Lloris next year and is seen as a low-risk signing in the hunt for a new number one.

Talks between Spurs and Atalanta over a deal for Gollini have ended, but the two sides are still negotiating a potential deal for young midfielder Cristian Romero.
Atalanta are expected to pay around £ 13 million to sign Romero permanently from Juventus but are open to earning immediately and demand more than £ 35 million for the 23-year-old, who was named Serie A’s best young defender last season.
