Thomas Tuchel confirms that Marcos Alonso needs to maneuver to Barcelona

Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has confirmed he has left Marcos Alonso out of the Blues’ matchday squad to face Everton as he has requested to be part of Barcelona.

90min revealed on Friday that Barça have been assured of finishing a deal for Alonso this month, and suspicions {that a} deal was shut have been raised when Alonso was not named in Chelsea’s matchday squad for the season opener on Saturday.

After the west Londoners’ 1-0 win at Goodison Park, Tuchel confirmed that Alonso has requested to go away and was subsequently not noted of their touring celebration.
