Spain’s Euro 2024 Squad Includes Dynamic Duo Yamal and Fermin

The provisional Spain squad for Euro 2024, led by Luis de la Fuente, features young talent like Lamine Yamal and uncapped player Fermin Lopez of Barcelona.

With a youthful 29-man roster, La Roja, including standout player Yamal, must trim down to 26 by June 7 before the tournament in Germany.

Yamal, who made history as Spain’s youngest player and scorer at 16 years and 50 days, has shone for Barcelona this season.

The squad also includes rising stars like Pedri, Pau Cubarsi, Ferran Torres, and debutant Fermin Lopez, along with Ayoze Perez of Real Betis.

However, notable players like Marco Asensio, Pedro Porro, Pau Torres, and Kepa Arrizabalaga are absent from the squad, with Gavi sidelined due to injury.

The team features experienced players such as captain Alvaro Morata, Dani Carvajal, Nacho, Rodri, and Jesus Navas, as well as Joselu from Real Madrid.

Spain kicks off their Euro 2024 campaign against Croatia on June 15 in Berlin, followed by matches against Italy and Albania in Group B.
