Southampton affirm that Tino Livramento will miss the remainder of 2022 with an ACL harm

Southampton have confirmed that Tino Livramento will miss the remainder of 2022 after struggling an ACL harm.

Livramento was pressured out throughout the Saints’ latest Premier League draw with Brighton and up to date reviews had indicated that the knock was unhealthy.

This has since been confirmed by the membership, and the defender will probably be out for some time.

“Southampton Football Club can unfortunately confirm that Tino Livramento has suffered an ACL injury and is likely to be out for the rest of the year,” it stated in a press release.

“The 19-year-old pitcher suffered the injury during the first half of Sunday’s Premier League visit to Brighton, with a subsequent scan of his left knee revealing the extent of the problem.”

“Livramento, who had enjoyed an impressive debut season after last summer’s move from Chelsea, and made 32 appearances for the first team, will now undergo surgery before rehab begins.

“Although there isn’t a definitive timetable for his return, it’s doubtless that he will probably be unavailable for the remainder of 2022.

“Everyone in the club sends his very best regards to Tino and will do everything to support him during every step of his recovery.”

Livramento has had a breakout yr this season since shifting from Chelsea final summer time, making 28 appearances and recording two assists.
