Sessegnon and Tanganga Follow Dier and Perisic in Exiting Tottenham Squad

Tottenham have cut ties with Ryan Sessegnon and Japhet Tanganga, who trail Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic out of the club as free agents.

Earlier, Dier finalized his permanent switch to Bayern Munich while Perisic re-joined his first club, Hajduk Split, both following their loan spells.

The quartet’s departure coincides with their contract terminations at Tottenham.

Once pegged as a future star, Sessegnon moved from Fulham in a high-profile £25 million transfer in 2019. His tenure at Spurs was marred by injuries, limiting him to 57 appearances and three goals over five years.

With his season cut short by hamstring surgery in February, Sessegnon is now rumored to be in discussions with various Premier League outfits.

Homegrown talent Tanganga, who originally made his mark under Jose Mourinho’s guidance in the 2019-20 season, competed in 50 matches for Spurs. His final year was spent on loan at Millwall.
