Minnesota United versus Sporting Kansas City: The moment I’ve been anticipating – Oluwaseyi

Minnesota United forward Tani Oluwaseyi is excited about his chance in the starting line-up before facing Sporting Kansas City.

The Loons have had a positive start to the MLS season, currently in fifth place in the Western Conference.

On the other hand, Sporting KC is sitting in 10th place, three points behind, with only two wins out of nine matches.

Last weekend, Oluwaseyi scored the first goal in Minnesota’s 3-0 victory over Charlotte, breaking a three-game winless streak.

When asked about breaking into the starting eleven after a year on loan, Oluwaseyi, who has scored three goals, said:

“It’s something I’ve been waiting for, for the past three years.

“I hoped to achieve it in the first year, but everyone’s journey is different, which is evident in the game.

“So, it took a couple of years, but now that I’m here and given the chance, the most important thing for me is to seize the opportunity and make the most of it.”
