Edwards advises Luton Town to disregard scrutiny in the relegation fight

Rob Edwards is eager for Luton Town to disregard the attention surrounding them in the fight against relegation as they gear up for another pivotal match against Wolves.

The Hatters are just one point away from safety in the relegation zone following consecutive 5-1 losses to Manchester City and Brentford.

While Nottingham Forest also suffered defeat last weekend, losing 2-0 to Everton, Burnley defeated Sheffield United to close the gap to Luton to two points.

When asked how he is managing the pressure of the relegation battle with only four games remaining, Edwards commented: “The stakes are already high, we all understand the significance and it’s crucial for everyone involved in this situation, with several clubs still fighting to avoid relegation and remain in the league next season, it’s extremely important.

“Everyone seems to want to intensify the competition. We have a title race happening at one end, and of course, there’s the relegation battle we’re part of. It’s thrilling, it’s positive that we’re in the mix, and we have an opportunity to escape it, but right now, my main focus is on our performance tomorrow.”
